Highlights
The thing that differentiates Galaxy Note series from any other phone is its Stylus Pen or S Pen. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is no different. This time they even made the Stylus Bluetooth integrated. This means one can use the Stylus as a button or remote control e.g. while sliding through a powerpoint presentation. With the Samsung Dex feature, the Note 9 can be connected to a monitor and turn it into a PC alike device. It can even be used with a projector to show a presentation directly via the phone. The user can create or save the files to Google Drive and open them directly from there. There are tons of possibilities with Note 9 which makes it special. But they are beyond the scope of this review. For now, let us just describe the few other important features of this device.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 comes with 5th generation gorilla glass on the front and back. The frames are made of aluminum. It means the phone is totally solid on the outside. 6.4-inch qHD Super AMOLED display is one of its kind and defines pure elegance. Powerful 6 GB RAM, up to 2.7 GHz octa-core CPU, Exynos 9810 Octa and Mali G72 MP18 GPU makes it a super powerhouse for all kinds of computing purpose. It may not be alble to run softwares that are made exclusively for Windows PCs, but it can provide a much more extended Android experience. The water-carbon cooling system will prevent overheating while performing graphics-intensive tasks. Lag or frame drops may not occur at all in this device. Dual 12 MP back camera packed with tons of features is excellent for mobile photography and recording 4K videos. It is awarded as one of the best camera phones of 2018. The front camera is also clear and bright even in low light conditions. The battery should last one whole day for regular users and there is a 15W Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging option. Galaxy Note9 comes with a IP68 waterproof body.
